In the quiet of first morn's light
It will be alright
Even tho your heart be troubled

How can that be true
When the world has stopped believing in you
They say you are dead!
And this is what my Lord said...
Does not the sun rise?
And I said yes Lord
Does the rainbow appear after rainy skies
And I answered yes Lord
Do you still see the stars I hung in heaven?
I answered again yes Lord
Do the church bells ring on day seven?
Of course I answered yes Lord
Do the birds still sing?
Yes Lord they sure do
Do the flowers bloom in spring?
Yes Lord I sneeze every year
Do the seasons change?
Well yes..Lord they surely do
Then He said good glad to hear that
Well I've got to go, but I'll be close by
I've got a million things yet to do
I'll be seeing you in the by and by
Ohhh , by the way tell them I still live!
