You hold me in your hand
I seek peace and love
To acquire joy is my destination
The road ahead is long,
but I am not alone
For many seek what I need
Many want what I love
A soul woven with many knots
Tenderly
Upon this cloth threads are placed
In the correct location
Tightly woven with love each one strong
A blanket of warmth is created
Wrapped in a myriad of color
Gentle persuasions
Guiding, comforting, soothing
Bound by human kindness
Woven with the sheerest of silks
Freely given to those in need
Lost, lonely, worn down by life's journey
Mending broken wings
Rebuilding faith
Thus it begins.......a new journey
From birth we become a strand
In the Master Weavers rainbow plan
We are each unique yet all woven in His design
Each strand woven by life's pattern divine
He wove each strand with love for comfort
Bound the ties that bind with enduring effort
Intwined each of the strands He wove in
forgiveness, mercy, understanding,and eternal
love and compassion.
Around the border He placed Angels
to gently guide around the curves
Knowing the journey we embarked
upon would be long and sometimes cold
Before we arrived at His threshold
