Golden

GOLDEN

The G is plainly out of place
Cause it wasn't the G
That put these lines on my face

G O L D E N
They call these years of mine
But it's plain to see
That OLDEN is what turned my hair to silver
And caused me to Opine

The next letter is L
In that descriptive word
Could be my memory Loss
That flies away quickly like a bird
Now wherever did I put that
I can't find my Sunday hat

Then comes D for Did I or Didn't I
Feed the cat, or take my pills
That Doctor said would cure my ills
Note to self remind him of my memory condition
When he sends me his bills

E is Everyday life is an adventure for me

N is Never a dull moment
In these Olden years

So never tell me that these are Golden
Now it's spelled correctly
No need for spell check or dictionary
