Old Music And Memories
Moments of time stroll through our minds
When we hear a certain song from another time
Glimpses of visions on a page from the past
Memories of lost loves,ones that left scars
Upon the blackboard of our hearts to forever last.
Old country songs that never seem to die
Even old rock n roll brings us up with a sigh
Old music and memories never die
They get sweeter each day... that passes by
We smile as we hear that old favorite tune
Remembering an old summer night in June
When a new love was in full bloom
The feelings of butterflies in our tummy
Each time we kissed, or acted like a dummy
Old songs and memories
are the bridge back into time
These treasures are forever yours and mine
Nothing can steal them nor replace
Old music and memories we retrace
